Inactivated IBH
Composition:
Each dose contains not less than a pre-inactivation titer of 1 x 105.5 CID50 Inclusion Body Hepatitis virus.
Indication:
An inactivated vaccine developed for immunisation of commercial and breeder birds against IBH and HPS infection. It is recommended in endemic areas and as prelay and midlay vaccination in breeder flocks.
Vaccination Program:
- For commercial broilers, vaccinate between 7 to 10 days of age.
- For broiler breeders, initial vaccination should be given from 14 to 16 weeks of age. Revaccinate between the age of 20 to 22 weeks of age.
- A dose of 0.5 ml per bird is recommended.
Administration:
This vaccine should be brought to room temperature before use. It must be injected subcutaneously in the lower neck region, using standard aseptic techniques. Ensure that all birds in the flock are properly vaccinated, but do not vaccinate within 42 days before slaughter.
Pack Size and Storage:
The vaccine is available in 500 ml polypropylene bottles and 17 bottles are packed per case. Each bottle contains 1000 doses of the vaccine. Protect the vaccine from light and store between 2°C and 8°C; do not freeze it.
