Composition:
Each dose contains not less than 106 EID50 B1 strain, Newcastle Disease Virus.
Indication:
A vaccine indicated for the immunisation of chickens against Newcastle disease, for primary and booster vaccinations.
Vaccination Program:
- The first dose of the vaccine can be administered at 1 day of age or older.
- Once the chick is 2 weeks of age, a second dose can be administered.
- It can be used as a booster vaccination for replacement pullets between the ages of 16 to 18 weeks.
- Vaccine Reaction: Respiratory symptoms may be more evident after the first vaccination and will vary with age and parental immunity. Make sure the birds are comfortable with heat and ventilation while going through the reaction.
Administration:
This vaccine can be administered by the Course Spray method, Intranasal method, Intraocular instillation or via drinking water.
Pack Size and Storage:
The vaccine is freeze dried (lyophilised) and 10 vials are packed per box. It is available in 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000 and 2500 doses per vial, with diluent. Protect the vaccine from light and store between 2°C and 8°C; do not freeze it.
