Live Las

Composition:

‍Each dose contains not less than 10⁶ EID₅₀ LaSota strain, Newcastle Disease Virus.

Indication:

A vaccine indicated for the immunisation of chickens against Newcastle disease, for primary and booster vaccinations.

Vaccination Program: 

• The first dose of the vaccine is recommended at 2 weeks or older. 
• 3 to 6 weeks later, revaccination can take place. It is advised to use the Live Las vaccine as a booster vaccination, even after the use of the B1 primary vaccination.
• It should also be used as a booster vaccination for replacement pullets between the ages of 16 to 18 weeks. 
• Vaccine Reaction: Respiratory symptoms may be more evident after the first vaccination and will vary with age and parental immunity. Make sure the birds are comfortable with heat and ventilation while going through the reaction.

Administration:

This vaccine can be administered by the Course Spray method, Intranasal method, Intraocular instillation or via drinking water.

Pack Size and Storage:

The vaccine is freeze dried (lyophilised) and 10 vials are packed per box. It is available in 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 2500, 5000 and 10000 doses per vial, with or without diluent. Protect the vaccine from light and store between 2°C and 8°C; do not freeze it.
